Finally, Silents at the Stanford | Lucky clip courtesy of Bev

Playing about with meds in order to sleep just sucks. I hate the compromise, hate the pain, and certainly hate not sleeping due to either or both. I didn't sleep well again, and the 1/2 dose of Gabapentin didn't help as others have. I'm now starting to wonder how much of this is becoming anxiety based in addition to the actual nerve issues. I'm still triple checking the refrigerator, and all still looks fine. It's just so daunting to consider any issue, but the double-duty reinforcements are proving solid and reliable, and even if there was any issue at all, it's not coming out of place without obvious indications and significant movement and force. So, I'm feeling better. I'm touching base with Lauren daily to keep her aware of our support and her importance to us. Clashes with Tommy are resurfacing, and the disrespect will force some strict boundaries and consequences. The Mt Winery date night with Jen was a blast. Jon Waite was far better than I'd anticipated; men at Work is simply Colin Hay with supporting musicians performing M@W tracks and they were stunningly tight and coordinated musicians. Rick Springfield was well-executed showmanship and performance right down to fun video background and repeatedly used a guitar "windmill" stroke ala Townshend to splay rose petals into the audience and across the stage when handed a bouquet, which he received multiples of. We had a great time. We came home to a mess in his bathroom, and I tossed his dirty clothes next to the toilet, which resulted in conflict in the morning because he was going to wear them. Huh? It wasn't necessary; I get tired of picking up, but he's been relatively good, just not in that area. I managed to get through some complicated work tasks, including redoing the cultivate reports after realizing how to dynamically reference cells by name from google Slides making it even more flexible to move and reduce rows. It's cool stuff. I went solo to see "The General" at the Stanford tonight. Downtown Palo Alto was a clogged clog while I was trying to find parking but I did. The line was around the corner. The place was packed. It was a thrill to experience this again, years after first going for "The Gold Rush". I moved about a few times to enjoy different vantage points. I found out en route from Matt B that tomorrow's flight was delayed way later than the 6.15 am departure which I was as thrilled to learn because it makes my life easier and even more thrilled that it works better for them too. Win-win.
