Another day in RWC and another painfully long drive in. It's ridiculous that it takes over 1.25 hrs to get into RWC. Just ridiculous. But I got there, and we had our hack effort w/Symfony which went well. Emergency BBQ run fail due to closure, so 3 pigs to go worked instead. Offsite at 'the office' was pleasant but brief. Big welcome from the dog. Had a fucked up text from Linda while at work/offsite attacking me with accusations about saying things to the kids about her hoarding cash, when it's them that have expressed it before, but I didn't reply and don't give a damn anymore because she's not interested in my side, my experiences, my efforts, my good intentions, my generosity… she's just focused on herself. Completely. Still I had to pickup X-rays for tomorrow's appointment, took dog, saw Lauren briefly, returned home. Irritation level is high and Jen's typical routine of leaving food out annoyed me. Asked her to put it away, but my irritation was clear and she went on the defense and that spiraled too. Not a good evening nor a precursor to going for surgical consult tomorrow about my neck, which I'm more anxious about than I tend to let on.
